Over the past weekend, 132,557 individuals passed through the doors of the Tokyo Big Sight to visit a record number of 110 exhibitors. This marks an increase of 32,000 people compared to last year, which saw 100,051 participants, but still falls short of the 146,616 participants in 2019.
Additionally, AnimeJapan revealed that the event raised 6,427,850 yen (approximately 211,175 Brazilian reais) for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund of Ishikawa Prefecture. This constitutes a portion of the money raised by the event, rather than direct donations.
